Claudia Sahm, a member of the Washington Center for Equitable Growth's Research Advisory Board, is a senior economist at the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System. Sahm, who specializes in macroeconomics and household finance, completed her Ph.D. at the University of Michigan and previously earned a B.A. in economics, political science, and German at Denison University. She is currently on leave to the Council of Economic Advisers.
